Nestled in the verdant forested landscapes of West Grey, Ontario, Canada, on a 100acre wood called, FoxHaven, our Weekend Dream Intensive offers a transformative retreat for women who are not only dreaming of the future but are eager to shape it. This all-inclusive event draws inspiration from the Jungian perspective, emphasizing the power of dreams as a portal to understanding our innermost desires and collective futures.
At the heart of our retreat is the belief that dreams are a rich source of insight and inspiration, guiding us towards a future that resonates with the wisdom of our ancestors. We recognize the importance of the communal gatherings of our grandmothers—be it quilting circles, canning circles, or simply sharing stories and wisdom around a fire. Our event rekindles these traditions, creating a dreaming community that serves as a crucible for envisioning and incubating dreams for the future.
Over the course of the weekend, participants will engage in a series of rituals and activities led by Jungian analyst and Master Dream Pattern analyst, Muriel McMahon. Through guided dreamwork sessions, participants will learn to navigate the symbolic landscapes of their dreams, uncovering the messages and insights that lie within. These sessions are complemented by communal activities that echo the collaborative spirit of our ancestors' circles, such as storytelling, collective visioning exercises, and creative rituals that allow dreams to be translated into tangible forms.
The retreat is designed to be a sanctuary and a container where participants can connect with the land, themselves, and each other. The serene environment of FoxHaven offers the perfect backdrop for introspection and communal connection, fostering a sense of belonging and support among participants. Our all-inclusive approach ensures that every aspect of the retreat—from nourishing, locally-sourced meals to comfortable albeit rustic accommodations—is taken care of, allowing participants to fully immerse themselves in the experience.
As we gather on this land, we do so with the intention of weaving a tapestry of dreams that honours the legacy of our grandmothers while forging a path towards a future that is collectively envisioned. It is an invitation to women who dare to dream, to come together and be part of a dreaming community that constellates the wisdom of the past with the possibilities of the future.
We arrive for a meet and greet on Thursday September 26 @ 7:00pm and bid farewell with a to-go bagged lunch on Sunday September 29 @ noon. Transportation to and from Pearson International airport (YYZ) can be arranged at an additional expense.
All inclusive cost including teachings, materials, food and lodging is $500.00USD. A non-refundable $100USD deposit is required to secure your spot. This dream intensive is limited to 8 participants.
